On Saturday September 20, 2008 Ray was crowned the Flatline Middleweight Champion!
This month blackeyemma has chosen "the Razor" Ray Echols as it's well deserved featured fighter. We got lucky on Friday September 6th and witnessed Ray win not one, but two fights by knockout. Ray returned to the ring at Clairday's Extreme Cage fight in Priceville after a four month layoff from nose surgery. Ray received a broken nose back in June during training at his Fear None Cage fighting Academy in Good Hope, AL. Ray had two tough opponents Friday night as he face Mark Hagood in the heavyweight division and Clay Tankersley in the middleweight division. I felt like Ray dominated his competitors in both fights and showcased the skills of of a well rounded mma fighter. We look forward to seeing Ray in his upcoming fights this month.
